  • Tasting at Aldo Conterno cellar:
The wine presented at 12- 14°C had a nose of brioche, croissant, butter, fruits like pear. In the palate: fresh, mineral, balanced with a middle persistence. After one hour at room temperature and after several red wines such as Barolo Cicala and Barolo Romirasco we came back to the white wine.
The evolution was remarkable: from a delicate Champagne-like nose, it has turned into a powerful Burgundy-like wine.
The nose presented a great complexity with honey, yeast, white flowers. In the palate was still fresh and mineral, but was now extremely round with a never-ending persistence. One hour after the tasting, i.e. when we arrived in the city of Torino, we had still this wine in the mouth.
