PnP. Paired with grilled chicken and broccoli. Bright fruit, a zing of acid, and very little tannin structure. Medium body, although very dark in color. Black cherry & plum fruit, a touch of black pepper. Started a bit chunky but smoothed out with air. WS says drink by 2014, but I think this could go another 2-3 easy.

A friend and I tasted this at the winery on 5/24/11. It had a fragrant, ripe and intriguing bouquet of smoked meat, blackberry, plum, spice, mocha, burnt toast and vanilla aromas. The palate was big, ripe and tasty with flavors of black cherry, plum, burnt toast, mocha, spice and vanilla. 90+

Big dark wine with great nose. The wine envelopes your tongue with layers of dark fruit, tobacco and bacon- long finish. Still young so will be fully integrated in a few years- tannins still high
