Right on point. Popped and poured. Very refined with huge flavors and still a ton of acidity. This I would say is just beginning to enter its peak drinking window which should last a good ten years or more. Great effort.

Light ruby with some fading. Tremendously seductive aromas-sour cherry, roses, and green herbs. Medium weight, outstanding intensity and impact, beautiful vibrant tart cherries, real spiciness, and outstanding framing acidity and terroir. True Gevrey Grand Cru quality, much better than a year ago and seemingly at a peak. Delectable wine.

Muddled ruby color. Straight away, one gets the aromas of sour cherries, spice, and earth. Lush, real Grand Cru feel with terrific core of acidity. Red fruit, soil, smokiness, and a bit of green herb. Little remaining tannin-no more than a couple of years from complete maturity. I was very curious to taste this after having had the Ponsot bottling about 5 months ago. This is excellent but finishes tart and falls well short of the quality of the Ponsot domain wine.
