Nose: dark cherry, rice cake, hints of dried leaves blueberry Notes: seems a little young initially. Although this turns out to be an easy drink but I feel this wine lacks the proper complexity. Not entirely sure about the potential actually. I don't know if disappointing is the right word but certainly I didn't think this was too impressive especially considering the vintage and the pedigree. Supposedly identical to the Ponsot Griotte I'm starting to draw a conclusion that only CDLR from ponsot might be worth chasing after. Drink: 2025+ Rating: 88

Bourgogne 2002 horisontal Grand and 1. cru winetasting dinner (20 btls) (Nordsjaelland): Garnet color. Lots of tertiary notes, Forest flor, farmyard but on the other hand also pretty fresh fruit. A feminine wine. High acidity, medium tannin, pronounced intensity, medium++ finish.
