Literally, I touched the cork and it fell in. Leakage into the capsule. A little crusty wine. Spicy, orange marmalade nose. Spatlese sweetness perception at this point. White floral emerges with a little time in glass. Really quite amazing glass of wine. Stunning acid. Drink for a long time.

From and excellent looking bottle, this wine had a gold center and light yellow rims. The high- intensity nose displayed pears, candied lemon, vanilla bean, and a hint of tobacco.
In the mouth this wine was ripe and rich and yet felt quite light and refined. It was beautifully balanced with crisp acidity supporting the ripe fruit. The finish was quite long.
This lovely wine appears to be at its zenith. While it will probably last for many years, I doubt it will get better (unless you like more tobacco oriented flavors than I do).

Fairly deep colour: amber/gold; fresh, lively, ripe fruit (apricots, candied peel, a hint of lime sherbet) with good acidity and length; a delightful, even profound wine.
