Bright golden yellow. On the nose floral with honeyed fruit. Very precise with good acidity and ripe fruit notes on the palate, slightly spicy. Good finish. Not very complex but really well balanced.

Appearance: Bright and clear, medium (-) lemon in color, with watery rims and legs. Nose: Clean, medium intensity and having developing aromas of lemon, peach, apricot, honey, slight petrol, stony and honeysuckle. Palate: Medium sweetness with medium (+) and refreshing acidity, the wine is of low alcohol and medium body, showing medium intensity flavors of lemon, pineapple, apricot, honey and petrol, with medium (+) length. Conclusion: Very good quality super-premium German Auslese with good balance of sweetness and acidity, the wine shows a highly refreshing palate of fruit and honey characters. Also showing exceptional finesse, the nose and palate are reasonably intense, but less complex than would expect. It is ready to drink now though would benefit from further ageing of another 6-10 years.

allowed 2 hours bottle breath; flowers, pear, apple and subtle honey; medium body and good structure for the vintage; acidity is a little bit coarse; a ready-to-drink vintage
