Light yellow in color. Interesting green nose- herbs, lemon grass, straw and hay, chives and lemon-lime citrus zest. A medium bodied palate shows waves of ripe lemon curd, just under ripe peach, pear and long dusty and greenish finish. Good wine- but the appreciable green notes on the nose and palate keeps it from being harmonious.

Coravined. Took a long time to show some aromatics- sharp citrus oils/peel, tangerine rind, chalk and wet stone. A very linear and focused palate shows a laser beam of greenish-yellow citrus fruit, a whiplash of acidity and tons of salty minerals in the long finish. This is like a very tight wound up coil- all potential and high energy but needs some more time to unwind a bit on the nose and palate.

Aromas of ripe, white peach, honeysuckle and minerals. It smells quite fat but works within a relatively narrow range in the mouth and is quite direct with all its lemony goodness. It finishes with a big puff of chalk and leaves a waft of flora in the mouth.

Burgundy Tasting (Ivy, George Street, Sydney): Meaty and leesy, spice and stone fruit…more of the same on the palate with drying mid palate grip and finishes quite bitter. Meh
