Good value on closeout, from when Pam was moving on to Willful Wines. I gave this one a bit longer than the others and was rewarded. Dirty cherry nose, really pronounced red fruit, dirt, and spice. This had more body than expected given the notes, with a nice juicy midpalate and a medium finish. Exceeded my expectations, but with 70% Maresh fruit perhaps they were too low to begin with.

Pinot Pigs...well, the name says enough. This is a quality bottle of wine. Nice mixture of fruit and earth, and while its not the heaviest wine in the world, Pinot is not Cabernet. All in all, a great value at $25/bottle.

Very light style and it is lacking in body. There is some nice cherry fruit and a toasty, smoky note that is pleasant. It is smooth going down but not much on the finish. It would be great quaffing if it were a lower price point. I wouldn't hold it past 2014.

A pre-birthday visit to some new places in the Willamette Valley: Quite light color here, with light, yet balanced aromas. This is nicely structured on the palate for a bit of future evolution. It shows nice light red fruits balanced with good acid and light tannic structure. Nice smokiness to the finish, again with good acid balance.

Watery red. Lots of caramel-vanilla oak favors, but the tobacco, rose, and berries are there, if a bit overshadowed. Dried cherries on the palate with a lot of concentration of flavor. Spice and herbs. Long finish. Some bitterness. Nice, but not my favorite at the price point.
