  • Pronounced golden yellow color,
Nose with aromas of oil, honey, flower (acacia), pear, baked apple, white peach, pleasant oxidative notes... It's very pretty

The palate is lively and with a nice acidity, a slight oily side and a slight touch of sugar. Beautiful material, ample and long, the balance is superb.
On the palate, we find aromas of cooked apples, lemon, peach, flowers and this slight oxidative side. I find a slight salinity in the finish. The bottle was not consensual at the table but I loved it. Very good pairing with a veal blanquette.
    It's very good

  • An exceptional bottle with verve, lift, vitality and complexity. A wild and bright acidity reminiscent of elderflower with a hint of manzanilla underpinning the melon fruit is simply fascinating and moreish. The best and most interesting bottle by far. Actually reminds me of Le Soula. A good thing.

  • Day 1, on opening, the wine appeared to be passed its best. Quite a deep yellowed hew, alcohol, oxidised notes, and not a lot of fruit. Day 2 though and this has come round miraculously. Still some oxidised notes and a bit of alcohol, but with honey, bees wax, ginger. Interesting mix on the nose of waxy fattiness and high toned acid - reminiscent of white hermitage. Similarly on the palate, an interesting mix of textures. This finishes long and dry. No idea where this is going, but I'd be tempted to drink up soon - Decant!

  • The first wine of our "France Undiscovered" dinner. This wine has a blend of very interesting spanish varieties - grenache blanc, macabeo, carignan and an addition of 15% chardonnay. According to their webpage, yields are just 15hl/ ha, which is really low and some of the vines up to 100 years old. At its peak. This bottle had an amazing layers of aroma flavours, starting from fruit and flowers and even ending with some bready/ ripe fruit and other ripeness notes. The palate had an addition of an interesting sweet peachy note, ending with a beautiful long appley finish. With steamed dorada. Cheers!
