Ravens I do not know but wood it had all you can need Oh my WOODness! Soft? Well I have been waiting for hours and all have got heat and alcohol. Only the spicy element of this new Primitivo keeps this bottle alive. For those old world buddies that don't know how to pair a Zind, what about a veal doner kebab?
Cuervos no lo se pero madera tenia toda la que puedas necesitar. Suave? Bueno, he esperado durante horas y solo he obtenido calor y alcohol. Solo esa esencia picante de este nuevo Primitivo mantiene a esta botella viva. Para aquellos colegas del viejo mundo que no saben con que maridar su Zind, que tal un kebab de ternera?

Earth and pepper nose. Very smooth in the mouth with a nice floral taste and very light fruit. Long lingering finish. This is a very smooth wine once it opens up.

Agreed, Ravenswood could do better especially in a year that was very good for zin in Sonoma. A little bit of spice but not much else...

Ravenswood can do better then this. Shallow and pale flavors all around. Not much character or depth.
