Nice bottle of Zin, much better as it opened up. Fruity, high alcohol, nothing overly complex - about what you might expect form zin in this price range.

Red/brick red color. Medium body. Cigar box, tobacco, and a bit of tar on the nose. Flavors are quite muted with a quick finish. Somewhat sour. Tannins are long gone. If you've got it, drink it, because this isn't getting any better with age.

Past its prime. Nose and taste of port without the sharp alcohol flavor of port.

Black cherry, tobacco, tar. A bit tart and somewhat hot - though typical of zin. Can't get much better zin in this price range, a soild buy.
