  PNP into Riedel Performance Pinot Noir glass ("Leaf" to "No" day): Pale ruby with garnet hues.
  
  Floral-infused dark red cherries, wild berries, hint of smoke.
  
  Richer on the texture on palate compared to the Passetoutgrain tasted alongside.

  Nose with ripe strawberries, some cherries, and hints of flowers, vanilla, mineral and oak. The nose gives a rather "warm and summery" impression. Medium bodied, good concentration of ripe strawberries, a tiny bit of sweetness in the attack, mineral and spice notes mid-palate, good acidity, rather light tannins, and a rather long aftertaste with berries, mineral and a hint of alcoholic warmth. A serious Bourgogne rouge that drinks well now, and can be kept for a long time. 89 p

  Nose with some red fruit, a bit marmelade, sweet. Taste with raspberry, cassis, some cherry, fresh, mineral, with a slight tannic finish, with rounded nice tannins. I like this very much.
  One day later it is better. Taste has developed Gevrey like animale notes, long finish. Lovely. It's a pity I have only one bottle left.

  Cellar Tasting with Emmanuel Rouget (Vosne-Romanee): Barrel tasting at Domaine. Bright red fruit on nose, follows through to palate with a bit of black cherry as well. Very clean and elegant, comes across as very traditionally styled. From near Marsannay. We tasted from a new oak barrel, the final blend will be approximately 25% new oak.
