Dinner with Maggie Harrison (Formentos - Chicago, IL): Providing a ton of pleasure in this peak window. Ripe with lush orchard fruit. More fruit forward and floral the the 09/10 Champgain bottles tasted in the same flight. Nice freshness to balance the fruit. Spot on for the vineyard and vintage.

Lovely with cheese. Peaking. Still some acidity and nice fruit balance.

Dinner with Maggie Harrison (Antica Terra / Lillian), Drinking her Great Wine + Great French Wine (Formento's - Chicago IL): Subtle floral start with apple and pear. Good weight and heft with good energy throughout. Drinking so well right now, better/ fresher than 2009 Champgains in next glass. I haven't tasted this wine since just after release.

Brought home from our honeymoon in 2011. Amazing white burgundy. Still fresh and delicious.
