Far exceeded my Southern Rhone low expectations. On a bit of a downslope probably now, but still has rich, ripe fruit - stewed plums and prunes, blackberry, some brambly/garrigue, cigar. Palate balanced, decent acid, fruit is a bit stewed, but not over the top, savory notes, herbal.

This was rockin’. I’m no longer much of a Grenache fan, but this was still a lot of fun. Big but bright and light on its feet. That Grenache heady-ness that’s kind of fun on the nose, with none of the heavy, sloppy downside on the palate. Don’t get the negative reviews. I assume they’re from folks who like a heavier style Gigondas.

Moderate ruby red. Intense aromas of black licorice along with strawberry and some earth. Powerful red fruit on the palate finishing with dry tannins and cinnamon. Made from organically farmed grapes fermented whole cluster with indigenous yeasts and aged in neutral oak, it is drinking beautifully now.

Remains vibrant with live. Well integrated and nicely mature. Outstanding at the price point.

A bit over the hill for my taste. The fruit has fallen out and those tertiary notes are not really showing themselves.
