A nicely aged, restrained style Gigondas. Wholly expressive of place and delightfully well balanced. In a very good place and likely to hold for a few years.

Three years ago I said this wine wouldn't get any better, but it has. Five years ago I said it could be great in a few years. Greatness achieved, so let's call it even. Blackberry, graphite, cedar, garrigue, burnt toast. Excellent lift and depth of flavor. Truly the only flaw is the 15% abv which it can't always hide. A tremendous value if you have the patience, I'll be loading up on future vintages as St. Cosme and St. Damien cost 50% more.
Really dark purple/black. PnP, but really needed time in a decanter. At this point, one-dimensional. Very tight. Will hold my remaining bottle a few more years.

This is a solid effort with a fairly muted nose, medium body, some dark fruit and good structure. It’s drinking nicely now and will hold for a few years tho I don’t see a ton of upside

This might be a tad over-priced, but drinkable, a little farmish, a little tannic, fruity.
