  Nice ruby on pour. Open on the nose, ripe raspberry fruit and nice soil and spice notes. Fully developed on the palate, maybe lacking a touch of fresh acidity but very decent for the price. Good balanced Pinot fruit and satisfying finish. Thanks JB!

  La Pouse d'Or Corton Bressande 1999: Robe rubis grenat au pourtour tuilé. Ayant gouté à plusieurs vins de Pousse d'Or 1999 au cour des dernières années je m'attendais à une couleur un peu plus soutenue, cela m'a surpris à l'ouverture. Par contre, le nez m'a convaincu de la qualité de la bouteille, ça pinotte grave! De jolis accents de griottes, terre humide, balsamique, poivre, fleur blanche, origan. Un bouquet riche et expressif. La bouche suit, 99 a vraiment donné des vins denses avec des tannins fermes et murs ce qui donne à ce vin un équilibre presque parfait. Finale d'une longueur appréciable sur la griotte et foin humide. 17/20

  Clear ruby/garnet color. Nose offers up rich primary small red fruits. Palate loaded with sweet fruit. Silky smooth tannins. Still very young with as yet no 2ndry characteristics having developped. Mouthfilling and voluptous. Long finish. Super wine.
