  • Nice wine, still young. Can be drunk now or put away for several more years. No bricking, purple/red wine. Strong red and black fruits on the nose as well as earth, light cedar, and some peppery spice. Taste evolved pretty significantly over 2 hrs. Big black and red fruits to start, and eventually tailed off. Some spicy pepper, oak, dirt dominated the mid palate. Had a good amount of salinity that emerged eventually. Great now, but will be greater later. Some tannins and drying on finish.

  • Lovely as a pop and pour. There was some good fruit on the nose. Redolent of dark fruits, plummy, rich. The fruit blows off after the first hour and you're left with a very nice resiny nose with some cedar notes when you drink it. Full with a nice finish with some mocha umami flavors. Big, could wait 5 more years. Great dark purple color.
