  Wow, I agree with the review below, horribly disappointing wine. The nose was pretty fresh and floral, but on the palate I found it incredibly thin, bitter and with an almost soapy woodiness to it. Sad, normally I love SJ Blancs.

  This was incredibly disappointing. A little honey and sweetish (overripe) fruit on the nose. But the palate is ridiculously flat and thin. Almost insipid. Absolutely no acidity and miniscule finish, save for a slightly bitter aftertaste. Feels both heavy and watery at the same time. This is the first white rhone I've ever had. Hopefully it's a flawed bottle, and not representative of the region/varietals. Gonna take it back to the store to see. If it's not corked, I'll know that this wine is definitely not for me.
