Very well done. Smoky nutty nose with some sage and stone fruits. Med body, intense with the palate matching the nose with a little more apple/bruised apple. Fatness and acidity balance each others. Veyr enjoyable.

Clean and lovely, characteristics this St-Jo blanc shares with Faury's Côte-Rotie, but it's just short of exciting, which is fine given this white's excellent QPR. Pear's the fruit here, and soft nutmeg and apple skin comes across as well. Medium-bodied and nicely focused on the palate, with good length. For white-fleshed meats. 60% Marsanne, 40% Roussane.

Juicy acidity. A nice smoky almost saline quality compliments the fruit. Terrific QPR.
