Concha Y Toro 90+ Tasting (Oineas): (Concha Y Toro 90+ Tasting at Oineas) The grapes are source from the Quinta de Maipo vineyard of Maipo Valley and the wine has spent 18 months in 30% new oak, 30% 1 year and 30% 2 year old barrels. Deep red color, full nose, very fruity, blue berry, vanilla, some spices, complex and in balance with the oak. Juicy palate, nice tannins, strong but not overpowering, fruity at first and the turns to spicy. I wouldn't keep it for more than 4 years though.
