  Very pleased with wine. Expected much loss of impact and a weak finish. Full bodied with a nice finish. I’m sure it’s at its peak. Thanks Joe!

  Perfect taste. Still muted fruit tones. Beautiful texture. Recommend finishing up the ‘08 now.

  Very nice expression of Pinot. Medium bodied and delicate. Well built--the flavors roll over the tongue in multiple waves. Cherry, mushroom, earth, hint of oak. There is a lot going on here, and likely more to develop over several years...

  I think this Pinot shows great potential. Even now it will likely benefit from another year or two laid down. As others have mentioned, the 2009 vintage is drinking much more nicely at this time. However, it is still a very nice Pinot and should become better with a couple more years aging.

  I'm of the opinion 08s are in a bit of a dumb phase at this point.... it was tasty, just flat. It has all the trappings of a great bottle and I think it will be a fantastic expression of the vintage, it just needs some time to sort itself out. If you have any 09s I would suggest enjoying those - they are drinking really well right now - and giving this another year.
