For a California Chardonnay, manages not to overblow the oak and to keep a reasonable acid backbone. Balance good with a little complexity. This is ready to go now.

Golden yellow color. Some citrus aromas with some mineral background. Tight flavors of lemon citrus. Some acidity that shows itself more on the lean finish. Just a little bit of sweetness mixed in with the tight flavors.
I don't really detect any oak. I cannot really describe it as round, nor as steely. It does not leave an impression - bad or good - but puts itself out there as a well-made expression of Russian River Valley chardonnay.

Pale golden yellow. Medium-plus body. Aromas of honeysuckle, nutmeg, and ripe, pitted fruits. Plush mouthfeel. Palate is layered, with white peach, pear, and lemon lifting to a creamy, lengthy, refreshing finish. 14.3% abv. QPR: $15.99. Would buy again. Drink now.

Enjoyed this chardonnay. Good balance of oak, not over the top for a California chard. Had nice fruit and floral notes, but not overwhelming.
