This wine is ready to drink now, nothing to wait for. Opulent from the start, soft and delicious middle taste, lots of ripe fruits, nice long aftertaste. Great wine, highly recommended!

Initially an unappealing nose of varnish and rum pot and coffee. Needs air. Better after being open for a few hours. This is still quite tannic and chewy on the palate, with high acidity, tobacco leaves, rose petals, and a sweet oxidized plum and cherry fruit. A strange mix of tannic, sweet, salty, bloody and hot/alcoholic elements - almost tastes like a hot vintage Barolo with some age. No elegance here, but it works fine with food. I guess my palate and the style of Chateau d'Aiguilhe just don't match in these vintages/years of overextraction and maximum ripeness. Did not fully enjoy the 2008 and 2009 either. Drink now. - 88 points

Clearly in a perfect spot right now. Still very healthy red with no ageing apparent. Tannins nicely melted away giving rise to tertiary aromas. Unfortunately last bottle :(

I like this producer and buy a few bottles in most vintages. This 2010 is delicious. Mix of pure dark and red fruit, well balanced, acidity adding freshness to balance out all that fruit, and enough going on to keep it somewhat interesting. Tannins and alcohol are well integrated. This likely has more than a few good years left.

Very good. Big modern style still has lots of fruit but you can taste the age as well. Excellent for the price.
