  • Vanilla, dark berries, some dill. Medium body, soft tannins, decent length. Nice Rioja. I couldn't detect any of the sourness the previous reviewer tasted, this cork was alright and the wine flawless. No real rush to drink up.

  • Dusty deep burgundy-rose colour, orange tinted rims. Scent earthy, cedar, tart red fruit. Tangy red fruit upfront, followed by a dramatic burst of sour at swallow. This falls to reveal riper red berries, and darker fruit... dry mineral, cedar framed finish with subtle tannins. Medium bodied. ( --cork showed signs of slight seepage... a faint composty-musty scent and flavour disappeared after a few minutes. -- )
