  Great Washington state syrah from someone that drinks a LOT of them. Depth rarely seen, heft to match. Interestingly, I wasn't wild about their Cab and sorta dismissed the syrah. Luckily, I just found some 2008 available. Really, really good.

  Dark ruby with purple tint, red berry nose. One hour open time, dry dusty tart cherries. Light body and fruit, but very nice with light tannins on the finish.

  Decanted 1 hour. Nice dark purple color, great peppery nose, with blackberry fruit, black pepper and a touch of violets.
