This is over the hill, so its unfair to give a score. Still interesting to drink a glass or two. Hazy, copper color. Oxidation on the nose. Little fruit left, a little pear and metallic taste.

Oranges, strawberries, some flower notes, and grapefruit on the nose. Nice acidity with medium+ tannins, orange zest, citrus, and a hint of bitterness on the palate. Long finish. What a unique and interesting wine, both pleasurable and stimulating.

From dad. Not really sure what this is. Deep Orange-bronze color. Apricots, spicy, a bit yeasty, some stones - maybe a bit of red berry fruit occasionally. High acid and apricots, spices and minerally, with a squirt of some sort of citrus. It's got a touch of that skin-contact feel but not enough to make it really unpleasant. The finish is apricot and acidic. This is OK but I really don't see that much to like about the style. Nose - 4.5/6, Palate - 4.5/6, Finish - 4/6, Je ne Sais Quoi - 0.5/2 = 13.5/20.

This was good. Previous notes nail it. I will add that the aromas and flavors were more subtle than I had expected. The winemaker, Stanko, is very specific to drink his whites at about 60ºF.

Orange, with some sediment (and not just at the bottom of the bottle). Intense smell - clay, dill, berry jams, licorice. Taste is lightly sour, with some citrus. Body is lighter than expected (but still medium).

(Radikon Jakot, Venezia Giulia IGT) 100% Friulano (Jakot spelled backward is Tokaj). Deep orange in color, with burnt-sugar, crème caramel, and subtle truffle aromas, this hugely extracted wine has a complex, earthy finish featuring notes of dried pear and orange peel.
