Sydney Italian Wine Festival 2015: Honey, VA, earth and melon. Complex on the palate but also has mouth filling fruit and power, with some tannins that are well balanced. Has plenty of appeal and length behind it.

cloudy amber orange . Definitely unfiltered. Scent of petroleum, nuts, and tropical fruits.
Taste was very nutty with hints of hay and petroleum, tropical fruits, lingering finish and very sour. the sourness detracted. if you take away that , it reminded me of Tondonia. It could have been a 95 pt wine if they controlled that acid.
Edit: on second day the acid integrated much better and developed some whole grain notes.

Decanted 2 hours before drinking. Intriguing aromas of hay, pine, citrus peel, honey, nutty grain, reticent cherry-like fruit, and hints of VA and smoke. On the palate the fruit comes through a bit more, in the form of sour cherry, along with grapefruit juice and peel, pine needles, honey, and stony, mineral earth. Nice sour acidity. Noticeable but moderate tannins. Good length, with lingering citrus and stone, slightly bitter. Tasty and characterful wine. Probably best with food; went well with Comté.

This is just offering no pleasure. Perhaps the worst orange wine I've had in a long time. There is a chance it will come around someday, but that's at least a dozen years in the future.

Fresh and vibrant, great tension, cleaner than some of the other wines on this table, long and fabulous.
