Loads of tobacco, liquorice, tar, graphite, black plum and scorched earth. Well structured with plenty of hidden tannin underneath the fruit. Drink or hold for 5+ years.
Best with food.

Very good. Loads of sweet dark tobacco, black fruits, vanilla, licorice, all the good stuff you expect from a Rhone. Long finish with lingering tannins and spicy&floral accents. Great deal for the price.
This was a very masculine wine, about 3 standard deviations on the masculine side of the bell curve for Rhones. This is the St. Cosme style.

I’m usually scared of syrah, but tiis is pretty good. Pure black cherry skins. Old school nose

Very smooth with a nice tangy fruit taste. Wish I had more!

Rather ordinary. Modern N.rhone syrah. Thought it would be better, is this closed up?
