  • Nose blueberry and blackberry with some roast meat and a bit of garrigue and anise. Hints of floral -?almost lavender. Palate is nicely balanced with plenty of acid supporting deep blue fruit. Long fruit driven finish. Mineral structure there tannins resolving but still moderately young. Not showing a hint of age yet. A very well made “clean” st Joseph with considerable power but not at all overdone. For a larger producer, remarkably well made and great attention to detail. These guys don’t screw up great fruit with excess oak. Thankful for that. Wish I had more.

  • Medium purple, clean and intense aromas of pepper, fennel, oak, animal, farm, herbs, on the palate high acidity, tannins in check, lots of sour cherry, very nice! Rough like a st joseph should be

  • Consistent with previous notes. Needs a few hours of air but is splendid. Drink 2019-2024. Technical score: 92. Enjoyment score: 92.

  • Pnp and poured through a vinturri(while waiting for the Pacquiao-Matthysse fight and viewing the undercards). Medium ruby-crimson in colour; nose of ripe raspberries and blackberries with some touches of lavenders and violets and a hint of black pepper. On the palate, there are tarty cherry and blueberry pies with some dark tobacco; some anise is detected. Medium bodied with a medium+ finish. Compared from the earlier tns, I believe this has finally opened up and is ready for business.
