  • There was a time when I used to sell this, different vintage, maybe the 05, 06 vintage. Big fruit, blackberry, dark plum, some heat,, plenty of herbal note, very similar to the vintages I sold not too long ago. I don t sell wine anymore, give it shot and a little time. Still a Very nice QPR!

  • A typical juicy table wine; not bad when served with Italian food in a nice bistro last night.

  • A little funk on initial opening, blew off relatively quickly. Also earthy on the nose, with some alcohol. Pretty firm tannins, fruit not very pronounced. Plum and other faint fruits eventually presented. Probably should have opened something bigger for my barbequed strip steak, but not bad for a bottle that I got for $6!

  • I could taste chile after my first mouthful I had to stop bc it was just so good it even caught me in the throat right. I tasted it again and it tasted like a desert wine like the grapes grew out of this dark soil that nothing could grow from. I think chile might be my new favorite country to buy wines from

  • Fires away with intense crushed blackcurrant, berries and leaves, later on some coffee and tobacco, yet the overall impression remains perfumed primary fruit. Some tannins in the mouth, medium-to-full, fleshy blackcurrant fruit, ends with a chewy, grape skin, acidic farewell. Does its job, hallmark Central Valley features, no great excitement perhaps, but all right on the night.
