Really delicious. Lots of raspberries and black cherries. Just enough smoky notes and warm oak. Falls beautifully between bargain Pinot and upper end favorites like Roar. For my money, Amity-Eola Hills is the right location in the Oregon Pinot belt.

"Pinot in the City" tasting (Chicago, Ill): Delicious red fruits, cherries on the palate with undertones of earth and smoke. Drinking great right now. Lynn Pelos, owner. (Doris: Yes)

This could very well elicit some lip smacks; a seductive medley of dark cherries, wild berries, and soft strawberry is threaded with dried rose petal, cola and licorice spice. Very fresh and vibrant mineral and rich fruit profile leave it screaming drink more of me with every sip. Supple tannins and smooth mouth feel, with a tangy sweet finish and good structure. Lovely drinker right now.

Mmmm, a little early but I wanted to try it. So much better on the second day. Dark fruit, cola and some nice earth with a little spice. It took some time for the tannins to come under control but this will be really nice in another year though it is drinking well now with a decant.
