(Sauzet Puligny-Montrachret 1er Cru "Referts") The Sauzet was good but not great. The more I drink Sauzet wines young the more I wish I drank them old. The many I have had been brutally backwards. This one was no different. Nice elegance and minerality but really backwards. Great material but needs many years to come around.

(Etienne Sauzet Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru "Les Referts") Nose of iodine, oak, lemon, pine resin and pineapple. Pretty exotic. Very crisp in the mouth with excellent balance and very nice concentration. Very expansive finish with outstanding length. This got even better with around 1 hour of aeration.
