A medium ruby wine. The nose is dominated by strawberries, but also have blackberries and bramble. At the moment it has a bit simple expression. It has yet to develop more than just fruit. On the palate the fruit is not as dominant. There is a more vegetal and herbal expression. Their seem to be a slight underripeness. The acidity is balanced nicely by the body, which is not as heavy as often seen in Valpolicella. The tannins are a little green. The 13,5 abv is fine. Adds some body, but is neither warm nor disturbing. The finish is also green and vegetal. It is not as long as I hoped and it also has a bitterness, that is what you are left with in the end. I am not too fond of the wine at the moment, but I do believe it has some potential. However, it is still too young.

Weekly tasting group #049; Blends worldwide (@ BS): Transparent red color. Dark cherries, red berries and leather in the bouquet. On the palate red fruits, a bit yoghurt, fresh acidity and a bit sticky tannin. Well made wine.

Slow Wine Guide 2012 (Release tasting) (Metropolitan Pavilion): The nose showed strawberry and woodland notes. On the palate, it was juicy with cherry and a floral aura that lasted into the finish.
