Purchased this bottle at a private tasting by the producer and definitely overpaid at $80. I think my bottle may have been flawed as it was a deep straw yellow color, almost looked like cider when decanted. Juice was concentrated, almost with the nose of a sauternes. It's possible this is just over the hill or that my bottle was cooked by a rise in temp, not quite sure but this was a huge disappointment for $80. Would be curious what others have for feedback who open it in the near future.

Pale yellow. Nice nose. Well balanced acidity, clean fruit. No blockbuster but very elegant.

Wine Spectator Grand Tasting- SF April 24; 4/29/2013-5/1/2013: Butterscotch, floral and white peach notes. Velvety sweet spice and white-floral stone fruit on the palate with a rich and elegant finish.
