On the nose, citrus, yellow flowers, lemon pie, and honey, on the palate, relatively creamy style of Meursault, slightly ripe but still with relatively good balance, quite good volume on mid palate with concentrated / focused acidity, finish was long. Albert Bichot’s Les Charmes are at uphill of the Les Charmes vineyard, which is quite close to Les Perrières. Vines are about 30 years old. I thought for the price at below US100 this wine offers relatively good quality to value

Appearance: Clear, with pale lemon color and legs Nose: Clean, with developing and medium intensity aroma of lemon, slight apricot, pear, white flowers, nuts, butter and oak. Palate: Dry, with medium acidity and medium alcohol level. A medium body with medium intensity flavor, consisting of lemon, floral, butter, oaky, cream, sweet spice and white pepper. Medium plus length, showing a lively acidity and well-defined fruit. Good balance and a creamy texture, with refreshing ripeness and expressive freshness, well-delineated in harmony. Conclusion: This wine is assessed to be good in quality because it is of its long length and also good complexity and freshness. This wine is ready to drink now but can improve for another 2-3 years.

(Pavillon Meursault Charmes) More depth and density, fruit-driven aromas. Wider and more concentrated, silky yet without apparent fat. Really lovely mid-palate intensity and long finishing. Again, really super.

vintage Meursault on the more powerful side. rich and very long. I counted 45s in my mouth, but my sense of finish is longer than normal.
