  • PnP. Excellent cork and fill. Light ruby. Nose of sweet red fruits with an overlay of animale. Lovely and light on the palate with no remaining tannins, but a persistence on the finish which is quite nice. Quite true to Charmes and not a big wine reflective of both the vineyard and vintage. Time to drink up but very nice.

  • Popped and poured; very good fill and cork. Light red; cherry and earth on the nose. Medium/light weight on the palate with a lovely sweetness to the fruit balance by a clarity of red fruited flavor. Lovely complexity on the finish but not a lot of depth and completely resolved tannins.
Ready to drink; I wouldn't keep this much longer but the best bottle so far.

  • A rather different bottle to my previous one, and a much better experience. This bottle has an earthy depth, a refreshing quality with good balance , and a nice length on the finish. Mature, in no way compex, and I still don't think this is for the long term, but it offers a straightforward pleasure now. vg
