  This vintage was recently re-released by Masi after sitting for almost 20 years in their cellars at the winery. Probably recorked and topped off, it was in great shape. One of six bottles that made it to Colorado. Almost Port-like in terms of consistency. Beautiful rich body and aromas of fruit and exotic herbs. Opened up considerably after an hour to reveal an exceptional balance of fruit, earth and velvet maturity. Would spend the money again as it's so unique and enjoyable.
