Golden yellow with tartate crystals on the bottom. This is barrel fermented and aged in French Oak for 16 months. However, it's impeccably well-balanced, with enough fruit. In a word, this is a creamy chardonnay, with a lovely full-bodied mouthfeel. Not for Burgundy lovers, this overdelivers as a Cali chard at this price point. Aromas of white peach, and just a hint of buttery oak. Good length on the finish, with enough complexity for interest. We paired this with roasted pork tenderloin with Honeycrisp apples and it paired well. However, my perfect pairing with this would be chicken fettuccine alfredo. This has enough body to stand up to heavier foods as well.

Although the acidity is well developed, there still is a slight aftertaste or tingling on the tongue. Lots of great citrus flavor from the fruit, and great just to drink or with pork or chicken (we have had with both. Well worth the $25-$30 cost.

We had with grilled chicken and corn last night. Really ripe and ready to drink. Well developed acidity and fruits that leave a pleasant tart aftertaste. Great value for the money I think.
