Past its peak, which to me was a year ago. Now heavier with petrol notes. Having had the amazing youthful 95 Avignonesi Cortona Marzacco last week, this paled in comparison.

A beautiful chard. white peach and vanilla creme that is well integrated in a well balanced wine. This is definetly the year to finish these off. (2 more left). Afraid it would be slipping away- it is not!

w Jessica and Carl Thompson in Deep River, CT. Chilled slightly upon arrival at the Inn at Deep River(aka Chez Thompson). Served at approx 55 degrees. Delicious rich deep peach apricot flavors. Surprised me as to how good it is. Seems to be at its prime now.

Citrus, apple, a bit of butter and vanilla on the nose. Fairly fragrant - not overly oaked. Vanilla and the butter on the finish. Good mouth feel but not too long a finish. Purchased this bottle when we visited this beautiful winery and gardens. Enjoyable over several days.

A forgotten bottle in the cellar. Not as big as it was but still a good drink.
