Nice nose, maybe a touch of oxidation in there, floral and nutty with apricot jam and honey aromas. Quite rich on the entry with stone fruits and a little white pepper. The floral note lingers over the whole palate and there’s a little savoury, bitter to on the finish. Very enjoyable.

Heavy minerals on finish, anise on nose, golden color, some acid when first opened on finish but then mellows. Second day seemed better for sipping while on the first day food was a needed buffer.

A much better wine with food. Initial impressions were bitter and very hot. With food it rounded out nicely with some subtle hints of apple.
