Cherries, vanilla, oak, a decent Chianti but not overly exciting. Good amount of acidity. Decanted for an hour then had with a spaghetti dinner, it was better the second day.

Earth, cherry, dried fruit, and barrel notes on the nose. Sour cherry, red cherry, dried berry, and oak flavors on the palate. Substantial acidity. Has a rustic, aged quality and lots of intensity, but ultimately, it didn't excite me. 84-86
