  Coravin’d. A bit musty, with notes of small dark berries, dried herbs. Quite structured with dry tannins, persistence and length. Old school and rather masculine.

  Aroma: Classic Nebbiolo nose with cherries, tar, roses, licorice and some oak. 
  Full-bodied with very good acidity and firm tannins. Great structure and fine balance. Fruity palate with som oaky notes. 
  Very good length with some sweetness in the finish. 91 (93)
  
  Still young, so do decant, or hold. Tasted over two days, and definitely best day two.

  Good vivid red colour. A savoury nose of red currants, a little Asian spice, underbrush, mixed herbs and red liquorice, with a little vanillin oak poking its head through. Rich and reasonably polished in the mouth. Quite modern in its aspiration. Sweet fruit on entry but some savoury, umami flavours across the palate. Flavours of raspberries, red cherries and spice. Medium weight. The oak is a little drying on the reasonably long finish. A good, not a great, Barbie. Drink or hold.
