Medium gold color. Aromas of peach, tangerine, and a hint of kerosene. Palate is more mineral driven than last bottle sampled in 2016. Lemon, peach, and some kerosene notes carry into a medium-long finish. This probably gets better with some more age for those with tastes for old Riesling character, but I'm for drinking it now. Drink.

Medium gold color. Aromas of ripe pit fruit, lemon, kerosene (or furniture polish), and honey suggest a good aged riesling is in the glass. The palate is rich with lemon, lime, some of that furniture polish/petrol note, and a sweet yellow plum and peach finish. In a very good place now and a compelling argument for cellaring wine. Drink or hold.

ripe and bursting with orange inflected fruit on the nose, definite hints of botrytis which made the wine feel sweet although it actually wasn't, and somewhat obscured the strong minerality too. Still, this was a delicious wine, very well balanced, and with a little time in the decanter I found that the botrytis ceased to create any issues. Big wine from a big vintage, that's all.

Orange rind, petrol, slate and mineral nose; mandarin and apple fruit on the palate, slight sweetness cut with still firm acid, though fading. Lovely wine.

F-ing delicious. Just what I seek in riesling--apricot and green apple nose, petrol finish with a slight viscosity and crisp acid to balance everything out beautifully. Wish I had a lot more of this.
