Red fruits, strawberries with hints of well integrated oak, so elegantly knitted that it's almost imperceptible. Tannins are velvety, with tarry mouth-feel probably caused by clay-like sediment. Finish is chalky. Recommend to audoze for a couple of hours.

Perhaps benefitting from some very wonderful family news, nonetheless this burg is drinking beautifully and promises years more which was the only sad note since I don't have anymore.

Slow ox'd for 3 hours and paired with Peking duck dinner. This was exceptionally good. Full, entrancing nose of red fruits and hints of garrigue. Light on the palate with a long finish and a nice acidity to balance out the fruits.

Impressions: a rustic wine. Lots of brett on the nose and just a hint of strawberry, which becomes more pronounced with some air. On the palate brett is less prominent but still obscures the fruit a bit. As wine opens more fruit is revealed but still lots of funk. Flavor profile is similar to a Syrah. Tannins are quite soft. Recommend a decant of at least an hour.
