nose - blackberry, maple, charcoal mouth - better than expected, very ripe dark fruited flavors on the attack, with long sweet tannins on the finish. Blinded I would not pick this out as a napa cab. With better acidity this wound be great. -- ok take it back, its not napa, its a blend across appellations.

This wine is still quite young and vigorous. Lovely color; nose is a bit faint and grassy. Medium body, fairly rich mouthfeel. Not overly fruity - black cherry seems to dominate - but a solid tannic structure that has softened over time. This almost tastes like an "Old World" wine. Medium finish with some kick. Believe this is at its peak now. Very good value; a California Cab for Bordeaux drinkers. Not overly complex or challenging, but very tasty, and isn't that what it's all about?

Purple, with a light, mild nose of some dark fruit. Soft, light flavors of generic dark fruit, with comparatively overpowering tannins on the finish. A very disappointing showing. The balance is off; too much tannin, not enough weight and fruit. Finish is fairly brief.
Not recommended; for the price, there's a lot better out there; look for smaller producers making wines in more specific appellations.

Nice color slightly lighter than most calif cabs ruby red not purple; very well balanced wine with silky tannins; pepper and exotic spices, fig and dark berries; not popping with aroma but an excellent value for under 15$ US;

Drank this way past drink by date…. It was fine but not as good as I’m sure it would have been.
