  • Vin très boisé, plutôt austère, mais en un Bordeaux charnu comme on les aime parfois avec des plats bien relevés.

  • This Merlot (80%)/Cabernet Franc (20%) blend delivers the goods, though it took about 90 minutes for it to happen. It really evolved in the glass over time. Popped, tasted within 1/2 hour over the next 2 hours.

Ruby red with maroon edges. The nose isn't very enticing, mostly green pepper, licorice, and a musky quality that had me wondering where the fruit was. But lo and behold, it arrives after an hour in the glass, constantly developing. Plum, strawberry, cherry are all there, with herbs, olives and tobacco behind them. Dusty tannins, solid acidity, but the wine is a bit flabby at the moment. I recommend at least a 1 hour decant, and expect big improvements within 1-2 years. 90+ potential, but pretty dang good right now. Great value in a superb vintage. 5+10+16+8 = 89

  • Deep ruby red nose and palate. Amazing bordeaux for $20. Very impressed.

  • Dark, brooding, masculine and intense. Nose of black cherry, currants, berries, and wood spice. The palate is textured, rough and a bit tightly wound with more fruit showing up with air time. Tannins support very nicely and there is enough acid to balance the long finish.

  • Nose: Powerful nose of liqourice, cassis, cedar, blackberry, plum, minerality, black pepper. This is full of life. The nose is showing great things !

Palate: Very good. Full bodied and in your face power. The palate develop plum , green pepper, rasberry and cassis. Othen than the pure fruit I also picked up crushed rocks and cedar. This young wine has a powerful tannic and dry finish lasting 20+ second. This is way too young but already showing well. I say put this aside for another 4-6 years.

    90+ (4-6 years)

    Voila !
