Tasted over 2 hrs -med dark red faint purple no bricking -perfumed nicely ripe pinot fruit faint mature note -med/med+ acidity, med/med- weight faded pretty dark berry earthy shell around a somewhat hollowed out mid-palatea and a mature element, med tannins -still doing OK but just past its prime, on the more delicate end of the NSG spectrum

Even medium red. Brambly cherry and some woodsmoke. Medium weight, tart red fruit, cranberry acidity, earth, and mild tannins. An elegant Nuits that may well improve for 5 more years but very, very enjoyable now.

Deep red throughout. Lovely aromatic mix of tart cherry, anise, and violets. Medium weight, gently ripe red fruit cut by zingy acidity and a touch of soil. Moderate tannin does not interfere with full enjoyment now. Very impressive and drinking so well.

Such lightness of touch in the making of this wine, pure mineral on the nose and palate, very fine acidity 13% so well balanced a great success for the vintage.
