  Clean and pure, savory and complex with many layers. With pronounced red fruit, wild cherry, red currant, blueberry, some garrigue with herbaceus and grassy notes. Also with some minerality and spice. Drank over 2 days. Great persistence and also opens up more and more over time. It felt that the palate also softened more. There is however plenty of vibrancy and life and will probably continue to develop. Very delicious and glad to have a few more bottles to follow its evolution.

  I have patiently been uncorking bottles from this half case for almost last ten years and haven’t found a single bottle that I didn’t like. Each one, in its stage of adolescence or maturity, was delicious in its own way, in its proper point. This particular bottle has been breathing for an hour before lunch. Cork slightly soaked. Beautiful crimson colour with a dark core. At first it smells like a dirty drain turnung to a purebred sweat with strawberries. Also dried herbs like thyme or rosemary and cinnamon. It even leaves an umami sensation in the nostrils. Multifaceted. On the palate it continues to fully demonstrate its Mediterranean character with a good push and grip, a silky texture already very diluted, an extraordinary acidity that endures until the beginning of the pastry aftertaste. Concentrated, powerful wine no more. Comfortable wine that makes me feel home. Time is passing and scores are getting higher, by the way. Only one more bottle remaining.
  
  Pacientemente he ido descorchando botellas de esta caja durante los casi últimos diez años y no he encontrado una sola botella que no me gustase. Cada una, en su fase de adolescencia o de madurez, deliciosas a su manera, en su justo punto. Esta botella en concreto ha estado respirando una hora antes del almuerzo. Corcho ligeramente empapado. Bello color carmesí con un corazón oscuro. Al principio huele como a un desagüe sucio que tierna hacia sudor de purasangre con fresas. También hierbas secas como el tomillo o el romero. Incluso llega a dejar una sensación umami en las fosas nasales. Multifacético. Al paladar sigue demostrando plenamente su carácter mediterráneo con un buen empuje y agarre, una textura sedosa ya muy diluida, una extraordinaria acidez que aguanta hasta el inicio del retrogusto de pastelería. Vino confortable que me hace sentir en casa. Nunca más concentrado ni poderoso. El tiempo pasa y las puntuaciones son más altas por cierto. Ya sólo queda una botella.

  Fourth of six. Bottle open only two hours before lunch. Cork penetrated by wine in its last third. Pale ruby colour. Initially a candy for adults: cornucopia of red and black berries, notes of wet earth and Christmas cake with cloves, cinnamon and candied orange sunk in marzipan. Delicious complexity that slowly fades away. On the palate it is a medium-bodied wine, with a silky texture that retains enough structure and acidity to continue aging with more than just a simple dignity. Deep and with a soul. A little short although it has an endless aftertaste. Absolutely recommended if you can find it. Gonna insist what this 87 score means, by the way. Sincerely speaking and according with CT can't understand either why 70% of bottles still are in cellars.
  
  Cuarta de seis. Botella abierta sólo dos horas antes del almuerzo. Corcho penetrado por el vino en su último tercio. Pálido color rubí. Inicialmente una golosina para adultos: cornucopia de bayas rojas y negras, notas de tierra mojada y de pastel navideño con clavo, canela y naranja confitada hundida en mazapán. Deliciosa complejidad que lentamente se desvanece. Al paladar se presenta como un vino de cuerpo medio, de textura sedosa conservando estructura y acidez suficientes para seguir envejeciendo con algo más que una simple dignidad. Profunda y con alma. Un poco corta aunque nantiene un inabarcable retrogusto. Absolutamente recomendada si es que puedes encontrarla. Qué significa esta puntuación de 87, por cierto.

  On the night after a more than adequate lunch @ Ruths, this really did the trick with some assorted tapas. It's very fresh, still a young wine, very vertical, a cool character while still with Southern accanets; plenty of black berries and garrigue. You really have to wait for the wines to show their potential.
