Roasted game, dark fruit, spice, and Pepper and me. Fully integrated, with flavors of dark fruit close to game and pepper. Long finish. Balanced and wonderful.

Definitely time to drink this one as its once bright and complex fruit have developed into subtle textures of leather, candied cherry and earth. I am glad I kept one last bottle to see how this would hold up but definitely over its peak.

quick notes from the wine dinner. ink, anise, a dead ringer 4 a vacqueyras after siffin the grenache, dry, inky lil bark on the finish, sour plums. I though this was past it's peak but still drinking well.

Full and chalky, with no fruit; grittingly dry. Underwhelming.

Last vintage before completely estate fruit. Nice smokiness with fresh fruit and a little pepper. Doesn't seem to be losing anything. 90pts.
