Amazing how this came into it's own, even after the CT drinking window, this was really good, probably not going to get much better but it was quite amazing - Dark, with ambering rim, full bodied with a nose of cherry, raspberry, plum, spice, pepper and vanilla, very well structured, completely integrated, complex, sweet, velvety smooth on the palate with terrific length, as good as it's going to get, drink up!! (92 Points).

14% alc...loads of spice on nose, brown sugar, ripe cherries, almost confection, some mushroomy, damp forest floor...good acid, secondary nuances, but also losing fruit...

This was slightly better than the comparable D'Arenberg we had (although not $15 better I might add) in that it was just a bit richer and more intense, very well made - Very dark, concentrated with strong notes of sweet and sour cherry, raspberry, spice and oak on the nose, it was elegant and very smooth on the palate, with decent length (89 Points).

Nice, typical Aussie Grenache for the most part with medium-dark purple colour, sweet fruit nose with a nice touch of oak, firm tannins and sweet on the palate and a medium finish - Not overly memborable, but a nice compliment to our steak this evening (87 Points).
